Black Swan by Darren Aronofsky.

• The storyline:

   Nina is a ballerina who works in the prestigious New York City Ballet  Company, she only lives for dance like almost of the other ballerina.

   Thomas Leroy, the art director of the company, decides to replace the  leading ballerina for their new show “ Swan Lake” so he has to find a new swan queen capable of playing the White Swan gracefully and with innocence, as well as one ballerina to be the Black Swan which symbolises seduction, sensuality and guile.

   So he thinks Nina is perfect for the White Swan but the Black Swan can be better played by Lily a new ballerina in the company. But Nina and Lily become friends, rivals and ennemies at the same time. Nina works to find the dark aspect of her personality to be better at playing the part of black swan but this dark aspect of her personality fascinates her more and more and she destroys herself little by little…

• My favourite character is Lily because she is very relaxed but mysterious the only thing I don’t love in this character is the fact that Nina sees her as a pervert but it isn’t right it’s Nina’s imagination so I think Lily is very cool.
• My favourite scene is when she dances  ballet and becomes a real black swan it’s so beautiful the special effects are magical and Nathalie Portman is sublime!
• This film is fascinating and Nathalie Portman’s acting is perfect.
